When trying to get commissioned by BBC you have to ensure that the title and the description for your project are compelling enough to catch the BBC’s attention.
Once you send off a hardcopy of your script to the BBC, they will send you a letter back confirming that they indeed recieved your script. What happens next is they sort it out and decide whether it’s a keeper or not, if they keep it, it moves onto the next step which is being read. If they love your script they will invite you for a meeting where you will discuss the details of your show and the money you’ll be recieving from it. After that you begin developing your show.
