Review report.

Throughout the whole project I luckily managed to achieve every target I set down for myself in the logbook I was provided.

I think the reason behind the fact that I finished mostly everything really fast is because I finished my script and filming all in one week, whereas everyone else had to constantly come back to do their filming every once in a while.

Another reason could be that I had some experience in editing from before, which helped me out a ton as I already had the knowledge of all the basic functions of an editing program which is reflected by the fact that I finished all the editing up in the following week. The strategies I used to achieve my targets is first of all, working by my script, after I finished my script, I strictly worked by it and did everything according to it as it made my work a little easier. I also searched for some tutorial through YouTube to understand programs such as Motion a bit better, it told me how to do basic tricks like add pictures of any size onto rolling footage, and not only pictures, videos too! So you could be watching a video inside of another video for double the intensity. It could also help me get my point across in a much clearer and sophisticated way.

What I learnt about myself is that I could be a really decent learner if I just concentrate on my objectives, which is exactly what I did right the way through the whole project.

I also learnt what motivates me as a learner, and that of course is the future, without good grades, future is nothing to look forward to as it is a life full of responsibility and money expenditure, and obviously without any decent, or any qualifications for that matter, good careers are pretty much locked out for you, and life gets extremely unpleasant as you can’t live a life you dream to live. So as a teenager, taking advantage out of free education is the way to go, life couldn’t be simpler at this point, and when it gives you chance to build your life into something great, you better take it.

The things that frustrate me as a learner is when I just can’t grasp the understanding of a particular task, no matter how simple it is put, it doesn’t happen too often, but when it does, it’s unbelievably frustrating and I can’t do the work to the best of my ability.

To be a more effective learner in the future, I should do more work outside of college even if I finish all the work inside of it. It will help me understand the project even further and allow me to get a much better grade, which will count towards my future career. I should also ask for extra work during class once I have nothing else to do, as it would help me out greatly.

Overall, I think that so far this whole project helped me understand the world of media just a tiny bit better as it gave me a better insight on it.
