Evaluation

Judging by the feedback given by my peers, my video was decently enjoyable. The common weakness given to me was the fact that the music was overpowering my own voice and at times I wasn't heard well enough. I am proud of the way I did my editing as it was very fitting and helped the viewers see what I see through my eyes with more detail. The part of my video that could've improved was the volume of my voice as it was rather quiet at times, and if I could re-do the video I would record my main footage in a quieter and a less occupied area so I could be heard clearly without any disruptions.
To make it look more professional I would've had to use a really good camera, have a high quality microphone near by to have a clearly recorded voice and have outstanding, over the top editing.
Compared to a commercially produced video, my video lacks a lot in every aspect as there wasn't as much effort and equipment put into my video compared to that of a commercially produced video. Unlike my video, commercially produced videos use up a lot of money as well as use decent and up-coming actors, and an amateur video cannot compare to that unless it uses the same budget.
In addition, I really enjoyed studying and working with new software as it expanded my creativity and arisen new opportunities for me editing-wise. I learned a lot of new editing techniques as well as gathered new knowledge on different types of software which I plan on expanding even further if and when I get the chance to, as I really enjoyed using them due to the fact that it gave my video a professional feel, although it wasn't much, it turned out decently well.
It also allowed me to work and increase my skills with the camera as I discovered new types of camera shots and got the time to practice them which I'm sure will prove to be quite handy some time in the future.
Overall, I think my video turned out pretty good seeing how it was done by an amateur and only had a limited amount of space as we were restricted to only recording in the college area.
